    Water leak from sump??????

I am not sure myself if it is in the sump all I know for sure is that water is gathering on the base of the sump and I can't actually tell exactly where it is coming from. It may be coming out of the pipe out the side of the sump or just running down the pipe from somewhere else I haven't had a...

    Water leak from sump??????

Thank you Slob that is much clearer now. I have checked the coolant level this morning and it has barely moved but it was definatly coolant that was leaking so I think it must be the pipe from sump. Does anyone know what this is called so I can try and get a replacement. Thanks.

    Water leak from sump??????

Hi all, When I got home tonight I noticed a pool of warm water from underneath the sump. The sump was also covered in water and it was dripping quite badly. I had a look in the expansion tank and it seemed ok so I cleaned all the water off and gave everything else near by a wipe and left it for...

Thinking of some major work whats your opinion.

If you want a 200 tdi and upgrade to rear disks on the back I believe the best course of action is to buy a rusty knackered old disco and take the engine and rear axle which has disks and from what I have read the axle is a straight swap. The disco engine takes a bit more work to fit a defender...

OE Loadspace Mat for Defender 90 SW (2002 MY)

I am about as far from an expert as you can get but I think you would put it under the side bench mounts. The reason you haven't got any replies is probably the fact that noone actually knows the answer.

    Propshafts again.

There seems to be quite a bit of play in the slidey bit and at least one of the front ujs and at I have now noticed that both ujs on the rear propshaft are knackered so I think I will just replace the both props. Is there anything else I need to know about doing this or is it just unbolt old...

    Propshafts again.

I was just wondering if I would be as well changing the rear prop while I changed the front one as the front has quite a bit of play at the sliding joint bitty.

    Propshafts again.

Hi all, Now that I am in a condition to start doing some work on my 110 I was going to start with replacing the uj on the rear prop so I climbed underneath and now I find that the front uj on the front prop has a bit of play and so does the joint in the front propshaft seems to have a bit of...

    F REG DEFENDER engien question

I am no expert but I would advise that you ask someone that knows what they are looking for to go with you as I didn't and I have had to shell out a lot for not doing it properly.

    I'm Impressed

Hi ormondstreet I am as far from an expert as can be but when I got my 200tdi fitted I was told you don't need to wait for the glowplugs on a 200Tdi unless it is about -15C. I may well be wrong but I am just passing on what I was told by my garage.

    help with engine decision

My G reg 110 CSW isn't as noisy as the 53 Transit I drove for a while but it does leak, smell of oil and bits have fallen off it so I mine must be about average then.
