Anybody done fuel pump mods and seen any change in mpg ?

I assume they were all manuals and not autos ?

Have read this thread from its start, over 2 years ago, to its end yesterday and will be performing the mods on my 300 Tdi manual asap. In the mean time I am curious as to the mpg changes the various members have experienced over the 2 years.

Disco 300Tdi. 3000 miles, SD&P, 2nd 'play' vehicle so no NCD. 50 year old. Fully comp £218

Thanks guys, SORN insurance want £101 for 12 months TPF&T off road will contact AF first thing tomorrow for hopefully something better

Has anyone heard of this kind of insurance ? My new (1996) Disco will not be used 'on the road' until I have got it ready and sold my van so in the mean time I want to insure it just standing :confused: Any ideas ?
