I have had a couple of bmws and numerous mercs and they were not faultless but i trusted them more than the p38. My problem is i love driving range rovers and i dont know of a cure for it.:confused:

Generally they are bad news .If you did put smaller wheels on you would notice a better and smother ride.

I think you may find a difference in build quality from bmw.......

Yet were able to retain their reliability record.............of being poor.

Agreed and it wont loose as much value either.You just need to make sure you get a good one.........they do exist.

A lot of ebayers use two different names.sometimes they keep one name just for getting shot of iffy stuff.maybe speak to his local police and let him know you are doing so.

It so depends on how light footed you can be on the gas pedal and how hilly the places are where you drive.I can get 24 mpg around town but i have to say it ts agony driving like that. On a long run at around 67 mph on cruise i am not far off 30 mpg.

best way to improve mpg is to be VERY light footed on the gas or of course dont drive it.:rolleyes:

Two different landrover specialists i spoke to tell me the l322 is no more reliable than the p38.Just loads more money for parts.
