Mine used to come on randomly whilst I was driving, flickered a bit then nothing from a few days to a few weeks.
It measures the position of the throttle, the name gives it away a bit lol
When I was having that problem I changed the Throttle position sensor, about £10 on ebay from what I can remember. Haven't had any issues since, fingers crossed and all :rolleyes:
Get a cheap bluetooth OBD2 reader from Amazon/ebay and download the 'Torque' app to your phone or tablet it will give you fault codes to help identify the problem plus you can clear any faults stored and turn the yellow light off...
Does the ABS bulb illuminate at all?

In that case you can assume that the fault lies after the connection that you made to your aux/driving lights.

That would work however if the fuse blew you would loose both lamps which could be a bit tricky if it was at night on a twisty road....
