Would it have to be a Payen gasket?, or would an Genuine MG/Rover elastopolimer gasket be just as good?

To be fair the hoses aren't known to fail on the 1.8, it's more a gasket and thermostat issue

hmmmmm, mine has a ball and cup arrangement not a clevis pin.......... How about welding my Ball and cup arrangement onto the new release lever?? Any views/ideas would be much appriciated

Its only the clutch kit which is borg & Beck (Friction plate, pressure plate & bearing) The Master/slave Is LUK/OEM Cheers for the input though :)
