'Freelaner' has 205/ 80 16's on his with no mods

Fitted new IACV & TPS, Tried to find exhaust manifold leak.Gave up and ordered a new one.....:rolleyes:

Seems to be blowing slightly, I've only just put it back on.....New gasket fitted, nuts to the correct torque. The flange to the front pipe has a new gasket & not leaking I seem to remember reading a post on here regarding a problem and to just to weld it up??? Weld what up is the question...

Bought a new one, car runs fine.... What exactly goes wrong with them?? The old one I removed you could blow through, However the new one you cant?? Can anyone explain this??

Surely they will hit the top spring plate, where did you read they will fit without any mods??

Does a 2001 1.8 have 2 cats on it?? one right under the manifold and one just before the joining the centre pipe??

they might quieten a bit once they settle into your suspension so don't be to hasty, just be aware they can be a bit noisy :)

yes mine had uneven blocks on the rear, can't say I've been a fan of them to be fair. Still there nearly worn out thank god....:)

I've got goodyear wranglers on mine, they are fairly noisy and as they wear down they get noisier mine are coming up to the tread wear markers now thank god.....

seems ok so far, as in not leaking coolant anyway...........

Mine are flush, all of them equally, which did concern me a little to be fair. I'll worry about sorting that out next time.

Ah right, Yes I'm finding Torque useful at the moment especially the live data with the coolant temperature :cool:

I assume the throttle position sensor has a return spring inside it??? I've just got a new one which would appear to have something like that, my old one is all floppy if you get my drift. Is this generally what happens when they fail??
