    Replacing Exhaust

    As above...get the angle grinder on standby :-) No amount of paint will stop an exhaust from corroding as this happens from the inside outwards. Good luck with the weather !!!

    OK..I have a series 3 which runs on LPG and petrol. I start the vehicle on petrol and after about a mile I swop over to LPG. Vehicle runs superbly on LPG. I have noticed though that when on petrol she runs with the choke fully out but cuts-out when I stop unless the choke is still fully...

    Well mine is on Eblag at the moment. Cracking vehicle..24v FFR. ( The ignition etc is a standard 12volt system on mine and only dynamo ( burst proof ), lights and the starter motor remain 24v - and what a starter motor it is !! ) Luckily mine had a new chassis and major rebuild 5 years ago...

    My 19J is a poor starter from cold but once started runs superb ( tis fitted into a series 3 Lightweight ! )...took out the glow plugs today and they are all fine !! Even checked the feeder wire to the glow plugs..all OK..so I'm stumped now !!:confused:
