    Can't be tightened...needs replacing. You'll need the ball joint removal tool from Paddocks to do the job....or buy replace the whole droparm with a ball joint already fitted.

    I have a 1989 90 with galvanized chassis (two months ago ), galvanized bulkhead; galvanized front cones and gearbox cross member. Also has installed is genuine 200 defender Tdi and has classic RR axles to give discs all round. Had new exhaust; very good doors, replaced gearbox and transfer box...
