    Doors, whats are they worth?

Yeah if they are grey people want them. Also window and mechanism make a few quid as well if working good. People would want them if you got decent rubbers with them as well.

    Doors, whats are they worth?

Have you stole my doors? Saw some in similar condition on eBay I think they made about 15 each. Problem is that's what most people have got and want to replace. Be OK for a off roader I suppose. The fittings might be worth salvaging though

    what a day!

Nice job. Would it work as good to one side as I need my tow bar and don't want to put it over the top? Maybe at the end of a chassis leg?

    what a day!

Also I dont see an issue of fitting a ring back to were I plate it. Someone suggested it before as a bad idea but like most things I disagree with him again. Me and a close friend have been making banger gear, stock car bumpers, roll cages, huge a frames for lifting transits in yards, recovery...

Your right that is bloody stuck! I need a winch before I plan on getting stuck like that! I'm not really bothered about the repair because as said I should have checked and realised that he put it on the TIE DOWN < (see what i did! what a day!

I was pulling from the tow bar With someone else before the marshals came but his was only rear wheel drive to and i always have used the tow bar! I know these ****y rings are no good for recovery! You only need to look at them to see that! I assumed he was going to jus loop it on the tow bar...

    what a day!

Well I got a tow bar that's bloody strong for pulling out. these little tow eyes were underneath on each side. I always assumed they were standard. Had 12mm bolts going through them which is what had ripped through my chassis with the huge run up he took to yank it! My chassis is solid! Well is...

    what a day!

They was! One was OK but the marshal in the orange didn't even know it was a defender I don't think! He was clueless! You would think proper equipment and marshal that know what they was doing would be there! Instead I got a teared chassis! Was not happy!

Well went to matchams pay and play today. Was having a great day! Managed everything there and was really pleased how the old defender was going. That was until I went down a purpose dug out hole! I done some depth checking 1st with a big pole and it was quite shallow. So I thought I'd have ago...
