Hello all, I just traded my old 90 in for a 200tdi 110 csw. My 90 had all sorts of underbody protection (diff guards, steering guards, etc), however the new 110 seems to be bog standard. What are the essential parts I should put on before doing anything serious, if any? Most of the stuff I do...

Sorry, not quite sure I get that. So your 110, is it a hardtop, station wagon, pickup etc? So assuming you have a station wagon or hardtop, you want to have a trapdoor type thing in the bottom of your roof rack so you can poke your head out the sunroof/other leaky opening in roof to shoot something?

Well the v8 is quicker on road, since it has all the power at the high rev range. If you were going laning regularly, get a tdi, since these are more waterproof and you can basically pop the clutch and "walk" along idling. 90/110? It depends what you are carrying, I may have to change my 90 van...

But especially in an older vehicle, don't you think continually using the handbrake increase the chance of the cable snapping?

Are you absolutely sure you want something 30 years old? As said before, with that age all you would be looking at would be a series, when defenders are just as good, if not better. Having said that, I'm off to barbados to hide from the vicious leaf spring type peoples.

From what I've heard the wolf wheels are alright, haven't heard anything about "semex" tyres (do you mean Simex?). As wanderlust4ever said, check on the wheel for text, I think "JJ" indicates that the wheel is a safety wheel and is therefore tubeless.
