help identifying an odd looking coil in the heater blower

^^^ WHS. Most (all multi speed) heaters have em in somewhere, must admit to being confused as to wat it was when i first saw one, thort it was some kind of weird pre-heater. it's not though.

    Frozen Feet - extra heater?

i've gotta rad blind - the air temp coming out the existing heater isn't boiling, but warm enuf think i have a classic mini heater somewhere - will look into it (if i put it in front of the series one, i'll rob the heat off the passenger :D) maybe some kind of tap thing so i can restrict flow...

    Frozen Feet - extra heater?

Hi All Feet are frozen while charging about in the snow. some bugger designed the 2A with the heater only for the passenger. is this a fixable thing - thought about another heater matrix in the same heater line somewhere in MY footwell - i've got some matrixes that might fit + couple of...

    series two of road

can i sneak a little question in here? why? have you been stuck/unable to get anywhere/laffed at because of poor off road performance? if not, seems a slightly odd excersise. If you want to do it then that's a good enough reason too tho. bigger tyres help on and off road, i'm running 7.5 x...

    Molly slip gearbox treatment

I put some in my well nacked ford gearbox. hasn't helped at all, but then it is very ruined, gear teeth are worn rather than bearings. some people say it stops the synchro from working - it doesn't - and wouldn't matter anyway in a transfer box. I put half a tube of molyslip in the ford box -...

Yup, I have slight mayo in filler tube - not had rocker cover off but breather seems to breathe OK. no oil in coolant or even any coolant loss :) mine used to pop on overrun and idle before i fitted the SU (was a weber that cut out). my money may be on worn piston rings in that one bore...

    Series3 petrol engine(weber) cutting out

definitely worth a try with V8jon's method - doesn't half suck hard though! also check the baseplates aren't bendy as bannanas - if there is a leak, its on the overrun when it'll be the most obvious

    Series3 petrol engine(weber) cutting out

another one! mine still does it :( even after having it suck my hand off check fer air leaks and things as well. mine's worse now it's cold and/or wet.... spent the weekend making an adaptor for a nice big SU. will see if that fixes it :)
