if yu've not got fade with the current setup then why bother spending more money on posh discs and posh pads? tis only worth upgrading if the current stuff is not working, not just "cos it's better". I run greenstuff on the Midget because i had fade with OEM pads. I don't like them, too...

get yerself a haynes manual fer the wiring diagram - follow it through. wiring on a s3 should be similar enough to the 2A stuff so you can just copy it in from the wiring diag. theres only about 3 fuses and mostly sensible, is OK once you get yer head round it tho a bit daunting to start with...

is it actually cheaper? cos mine does 22 mpg with the petrol, and petrol is cheaper than diesel. do you get enough mpg out of the doozil to make it cheaper to run over the same distance? just wondering thats all :)

one other landy used a silicone bead on a head gasket from the factory. I'll give you only 1 guess as to which one. p.s. - a clue, they've got a bit of a reputation for head gasket issues, and the uprated replacement has NO silicone on it at all.

yup it's ok ther was a fred on this a bit ago - seemed everyone else had similar. Mines in the filler tube thing but not in the rocker cover. welcome to LZ :)
