i,ve just cured a rattly,tappety worn camshaft sound on my v8-loose manifold gasket bolts:eek:cost me foook all but a coulpe of tugs on me wrench.silly as it sounds but it might be worth a look.

no mate,its the injector neareset the front of the car,could a loosely tightened injector cause such a problem,if coolant temp is disconneted will it throw up any hard fault,bcem or any other fault which is going to severly make my head explode:)

woogoo without knocking you mate,it sounds to me like with every problem you,ve had its came with a large garage ££££,s bill.i currently own a 98 disco,2.5rr and people often ask are they expensive to run,my answers simple unless your handy with the old spanners or a backyard money tree FORGET IT.

anyone had any problems AFTER they,ve changed the gearbox oil/filter?some say its debatable that gearbox oil acts as a detergant and can disturb small particles of **** making things a little worse than they was?anyone
