100% agree with what you say data,just talkin from my own experience of cycling glow plugs 2 times,mine turned out to be a weak in tank fuel pump.

what makes you think its the glow plugs?you sure its not a fueling problem,blocked filter,fuel leak off pipes leaking,weak in-tank fuel pump.have you tested your plugs?the timer relay could also be at fault,was it starting ok before you changed the plugs for the cheap ones?

thats what i,ll be doin in future,better safe than sorry

i,m watching this one like an hawk coz i too have the same problem,cut out 3 times now,everytime seems to be whilst going downhill.engine dies but restarts straight away.i,m anxious to get this sorted before it cuts out whilst traveling at speed.any ideas

check your local landy breakers,they can be pulled out and snap back in.you,ll pick some up for a tenner.

are you sure theres too much fuel?are you sure theres a spark-especially off the king lead from the coil.something to look at
