HI. I've had some help from Singovel in the past ( always good) so I'll put in my penny worth. I have a 2002 TD4 auto and I get around 30/32 normal driving and 36/38 on long runs, so I am surprised you think the Auto. is hard on fuel. p.s. 3 door. Malcolm.
