No more than it did before I fitted the arches, it's the inner main door seal that supposed to stop the water, all the seal on the door dose is keep the inner arch clean for you passengers to get in and out without getting crud on them ??

I cut the inner arch away and but some rubber edging / sleeve over the sharp edge, but you could use some old car door rubber seal it might help keep some of the crud out, as for the seal strip that's on the door it's in the bin ;-)

I stepped the cut on the door so I could hammer one side to the other, if I remember I knocked the inside up and in then bent the outer skin over the inner ( if that makes sense ) then a thick bead of good old silicone pressed in with a wet finger, ??!!??
