They aren't easy to deal with. It also looks like they are happy dealing with a small number of big distributors, rather than lots of small distributors. You can see why (lowers their costs), but this just leads to price fixing.
If you get no luck from Allmakes, Britpart and Bearmach, the...
Alive Tuning - Real Land Rover Performance for TDi, TD4, TD5, TD6, TDV6, TDV8, TDCi, Puma
Portalrover near Inverness are an Alive Tuning dealer and I believe they now use the CMD flash system as well.
He asked if we could fit one of the rebuilt first batch to his Discovery commercial, so I expect that to be done sometime this coming week. Then I need to check the fuel pressures on a run, just to make sure he hasn't 'overfixed' the issue for Land Rover...

Did Kwik-Fit also mention to you that having drained such dirty oil from an M47, it would also be necessary to change the crank case breather filter before the engine blows oil out of its various Germanic orifices.
I hope this isn't a main service either, just an interim engine oil change.
The info from TOPIx is:
Low profile: 25 mm (1 in.) below standard.
Access: 65 mm (2.6 in.) below standard.
Normal: 0mm (0.0 in)
High profile: 40 mm (1.6 in.) above standard.
Extended profile: 70 mm (2.75 in.) above standard.
Not sure if this makes more sense or not? I only ever use T4...
The problem with the fuel pressure regulators is that they are all made badly made. The design is ok(ish), but the manufacturing is the problem.
When the units are assembled, the O-rings tend to get damaged when they are pushed into position, so you will find some may leak from new. Others...
The above covers the steering box adjustment.
Each to their own with bushes. I've had enough of the Polybush ones. I've found that they can wear from the bolt, rather than the outside. I removed one of my panhard rod bushes about a year ago which had been on the vehicle less than 2 years...
Mine does, so does Sean's in the workshop, although his got much better after he went back to 18" from 20". Needless to say we are both fitting 16's again.
Don't go the polybush route BTW. Been there and done that with both the Dynamic and Soft ones. When I have some time, I'll be putting...
It is and will be fooked 'till some government is happy to be labelled with killing the 'free' NHS. Unfortunately, none of them have the bollocks.
And yes, even a socialist nationalised union led country like France has a better system than we do... That's really hard to admit.
Try calling Honiton Diesel on the link below. Ask for Jerry and see what he says about it all.

That's the problem - Too many managers and levels of managers.
I couldn't believe how many managers there were running the local health care. This area has problems obtaining out-of-hours GP's, simply because they won't pay a reasonable amount out to the GP's for weekend and night time...
The codes which start with a '1' (eg P1771) relate to manufacturer specific codes, so if you have read the codes using a generic code reader, there is a chance it could be misleading. If you can get the vehicle put onto Testbook, you would get a more specific clue as to the issue.
The MAF has...
The ATF should be changed at every B service under JLR guidelines. So that's every 24 months or 24k miles.
As for the filter, that is dependent on what you decide based on the road test, customer comment and ATF condition once drained.
Like James says, probably worth doing if high miles...
Does this scan hardware allow you to see the data changing as the engine is running? This is just a snapshot - Like hitting the pause button - but you need to check the Bank A and Bank B sensors are alternating.
Jon may see something in these numbers though. One bank looks different from...
I'd second a faulty thermostat. They are controlled by the powertrain ECU but when they stop working properly, they don't throw a code or anything, so you need to watch Testbook live data.
