if its low on atf. it will hav delay then lurch all of a sudden. check level. then replace atf. you need to look at colour and smell it. if its burnt smell . change asap
glad to help. prob just a dirty connection or a break near end of wire. try and stretch wire if it stretches just replace a length of it. but chech connection is clean first.
if you still loosing water, check heater matrix. not sure how easy it is to temp bypass it as a quick fix by joining inlet and oulet together. but i woudnt especially in present weather
i would check the wiring and thin wire(at starter). obiously relay is ok.if no power at thin switch wire ( get someone to try wi ignition key while you test for live)take a live from heavy one and short it on terminal. if it turns stater. then wire has beak in it. if power at thin wire and heavy...

took sender n pump out of tank, i know there is a filter in it( says haynes) but looks nothing like one purchased locally. but then again haynes says there is one under bonnet but can i hell find it
hi can someone tell me where the fuel filter is on freelander 1.8 petrol. changing that and other bits as it has a prob starting when cold and need some cranking to get it to fire. seems like its trying too, but fuel not getting through
