Why couldn't the car stop? Has the car no clutch? Would it not shift into Neutral? An engine runaway should not be the cause of a car runaway. MW

Both are 12v. One is a 101 and the other is a Disco. One is, and one will be wired up and fitted with appropriate gear to tow the military sankey trailer, hence the NATO 12 pin plug. MW

Mentioning the V5 upgrade.... How many folks have the cable necessary to plug it into the pc to upgrade? I know I don't and it is a fairly expensive cable too. How about a group buy / shared cable so we can all get our Hawkeyes 'done' when the upgrades roll around? MW

I'd like to see if they have a testing gizmo for my NATO 12 pin? I also know of people who's electrics are deliberately wired 'wrong', just like all their trailers! Theory is it makes them more conspicuous if they are towed away by someone else. MW

What Disco do you have? On my D2 the rear socket works fine with a standard cigar lighter type plug. MW
