Sounds like a ideal time to do a gearbox oil change at the same time as you will lose some oil as it's at the bottom of the gearbox casing, how much depends on how quick you are swapping them over.

Sounds like the diff mounts, normally its the front one of the 3 to go first.

I left some bottles of water in the security box and within a few day the condensation had soaked the box and the windows were bad as well, took them out opened the windows and stuck the heater on full for a bit and once dried it's been fine since.

Why not just get the standard freelander crossbars and fit spots to that, I got good as new set off ebay for £30

Nope, they are on all the time and arn't connected to the rear heater circuit.

Could be a number of things, the connectors could have fallen off or maybe not have been connected at all if the glass has been replaced. Also if the glass has been replaced it might not be the correct heated glass and just a plain piece. You could pop it open and stick a multi meter across the...
