Whats the best route,iam thinking cylinder head.pat

Well lads,got hesd off this afternoon,it was a dropped valve in no three cylinder only probpem it has ****ed the head,the area where the valve seats is all damaged,so it looks like a second hand head is needed what. kind of price are they.pat.

I meant to say screwdriver,if you jam it between the bolts on your left side as you look at and use the metal pipe as a lever to hold back as you push the spanner forward from the drivers side,also a wee drop wd40 .

If you put large spanner between waterpump bolts you should be able to hold it,and go clockwise with your spanner,also europarts do cheap belts,continental i think

Not yet but ill let you know,just takin my time,to dark,and wet from when i get back from work,just doing wee bit at time,there seems to be a lot of doubters,on this site now.

Bought sealey timing.kit,hopefully be here in next few days,will.keep you updated on how i get on,no doubt ill be needing help and tips.pat

Thanks for the reply wammers,have seen a sealy diesel timing kit on the net ,i already have the dail indecator ,and the pump puller from when i changed fuel imjection pump.pat.

Wammers,what does the tool i need to take the tention off the sprocket look like,is it like the one on ebay as a holding tool,cheers pat.

I must admit i dont have the tool to take tension off camshaft sprocket,and the pins but i will get them,pat.

Thats fine lads if i dont need to take it off i wont,and ive got the tools needed from when i last changed the pump.pat.

Thats what iam going to do next once i get myself some timing marks so that i can take fuel injection pump off.cheers pat.

Well took out injectors,now i can get 8 quarter turns each way before it jams,has anybody got any ideas on this,cheers pat.
