That would be about right if its psia, there is no boost at tickover so it would read atmospheric pressure, about 14.5 to 14.8 psia

Thats what I did use !! cant you tell lol :eek: couldnt find rubber so it wouldn't bend around the corners lol !, will look for some rubber edging.

I must admit I didn't weigh it before putting it on, this one is made from 6mm sheet which is more than is necessary, "production" models will be 5mm sheet, the strength is more in the shape rather than the material thickness. It will be coming off again in a few days so I will weigh it then...

The design is modular, the two end pieces are seperate & are fixed in the same places as the Mantec front reciever hitch bracket, ie they have a piece that drops down to the strong point under the front which spreads the load & stops the whole thing from twisting if pulling at an angle...

I did the drawing & made a cardboard mockup, took that to a local fab shop who cut, bent & welded the pieces , had it powder coated locally. To my knowledge no one is producing winch bumpers for the Freelander 1. If I could get enough interest I would have a small batch of 6 - 10 made.

A few pics with the bumper refited, still got a couple of days work to tidy up the installation.

Going to paint it before mounting it permanently & refitting the bumper Dunc, I'm going to look at fitting a couple of those swivel type recovery points that Paul has on his Disco, of course his have been used so often they are worn out :D, I think I might have been a bit "agressive" with the...

Managed to get the weight down with the cutouts, havent weighed it yet but will do, didn't notice any big drop in the front end when I dropped the winch in but will have a measure up when I fit it finally after painting. The "production" ones will be lighter, this one is 6mm plate but 4 or 5mm...
