In my first post I said that taking people to off-limit lanes is out of order..........That kind of goes without saying. But a lot of comments are just about the charging for laning........and I cannot see a problem with that as long at people aint left out on a limb on an off limit lane...

I take it by that, you mean the actual heater rad inside the cab? So you mean clamp and disconnect the 2 pipes, and run hosepipe into heater at bulkhead?.......and hope for a good flow out? Sorry if I made myself sound thick there. :doh:

I'm still getting the same problem..........Only luke warm air from the heater, and sometimes its even cooler when cranked round to hot . The top hose that goes in through the bulkhead is hot......this one comes from the top of the head. The bottom hose going into the b/head is...

Given the fire mate, I would guess that you are right, and the wiring is the root of the problem. Your ECU could still be shagged, even if you've had a go at fixing it.........there are second hand ones on the bay for £15-20..........or if you got a mate with another disco, try doing an ECU...

I just did the ECU fix, as the n/s rear window started playing up when it felt like it, then both the front windows, but because it was intermittent, I don't know if it was a proper fix or not, but they work fine at the moment...........the o/s rear has never worked since I bought it, and still...

When you checked the glowplugs, did you just give them a visual, or did you leave them connected up, and actually try them with the ignition on to test they are working, and the circuit/relay is working? Have you or anyone else done anything to the timing belt or pump?

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my 300tdi heater, in that it is only blowing luke warm air, and is not as hot as it was. I did the head gasket a few weeks ago, and it bled up fine, and has been blowing hot air ok.........but now its only just warm. Does this sound like a heater matrix...

Just to update (if anyone is remotely interested), during a heavy downpour, while sat in traffic, water came in quite fast around the drivers side, just along from the sunvisor. I spent a bit of time this morning trying to suss this out with a bottle of water, and I'm pretty sure its the roof...
