    Asking on behalf of a collegue: Does anyone know the difference between the Towbars of a 2005 Rang Rover (Part No: VUB000740) and a 2006 range Rover (Part No: VUB503960), I have heard that is only the Exhaust mounting Bracket and can be easily modified to fit either?

    Well, its been fine since it last (& only time) time it broke-down... Pity it was at the furthest point I'd ever driven away from home...(on the Slovakian/Hungry border)....Nearest authorised repair shop (to fix a 50p plastic clip that broke & stopped me selecting 2nd, 4th, 6th & Reverse gears)...

    o/ about 11:30 lastnight....top damper mount-bracket broke.... :( Should have a repalcement bracket/bush's'nbits to get it back on the road for tonights snow... :)

    My Haynes Manual says that the Manual & the Auto's should BOTH use ATF....Which is what I put in......did I do wrong?? :eek: (Disco1 '94 300tdi)

    oh, & to mention, I have +2" lift, & run 235/85R16 KuhmoKL71's tyres....so the bonnet is about 3" higher than a standard Disco...:)

    I've been in a mates Snorkled/breathered up Disco about a year ago...I was in the back.....The water was visable a couple of cm's up the side window:eek: It was touch'n'go....the flow of the water was starting to spin the Disco around in the road....

    I've put new breathers on the axels/gearbox'n'transfer box.... If you can, cheak the breathers are not blocked...if they are & a hot box/axel hits cold water, it can draw in water'n'crud through the next weakest link (Normally seals) as the oil/air in them contracts as it cools quickly.
