    i think id have to say dont do it, unless your a superb artist with the airbrush, ive seen people paint things to replicate different timbers and when its done right its brill but when done by a novice its so obvious and looks an eyesore. It take them years of experience to be be able to paint...

    the p38 can be really funny about batteries even with a slightly weak battery it will throw up fault messages, the common ones are gearbox fault and alternator fault.

    Welcome! Personally I would leave it there is loads out there for sale, unless its rock bottom price I.e a few hundred quid!     as said i would worry about getting it running/starting right first before thinking of sticking drug dealer rims on it, oh hang on i wouldnt even think about sticking 22s on in the first place!!!!
