    From what i understand if they cant see where it used to be then they can not 100% say it had it and thus fail it, same with pre 92 vehicles and CATs and Proper VWs beetles, the baja boys remove their ARBs for the same reason.

    Brake pipes

    Another thing which i dont see often but will help especialy on mud lovers, is the use of Denso tape on all joints ( after about a week or two of use to ensure no leaks) then when you need to repair or replace a pipe you just remove the denso tape and joints wont be as seized,

    the one that has pulled the thread get a helicoil for, the one thast snapped drill it all the way through to about 5mm then heat the area upa little and use a ez out.

    Steering wheel off centre

    With your hands off the wheel does she pull in the direction that the wheel is off, Does one tyre seem to be scrubbing on the inside??? TBH i would suspect the steering wheels been off thou.

    White Lithium Grease or Spray, Most stealers and mech shops use it on all locks and boot / bonnet struts ;)

    Speak to your local truck place or volvo trucks, they use MANN and tbh you cant beat their filters they might be able to come to an arrangement so you give them a small handling charge and they order them in

    What gauge is this?

    Could be an oil pressure one but with a slight difference. Ive seen two that were similar, you had a pressure switch but instead of a electric it was a sealed diaphram, you would set it up and then fill the tube up with a supplied fluid and there you go. Only problem is accuracy but its better...

    Said you charged your Air Con up, It could be part of your aircon system, Our Mitsu Challenger had a weird whiff for a while, went to halfrauds and got a Aircon cleaner, You run your engine and aircon let the can off and let it go for about 5 mins and it gets rid of bacteria ect in the system...

    Gunk is good, the Spray on stuff is ACE, but TBH you cant beat Diesel or Parafin leave it a while then blast with a jet wash

    Could use a proper nut splitter or one of them dandy saws which use a 12" blade but has half of it sticking out ;)
