Fab :-) I think in just going to replace the while console but somehow need to take all the crappy plastic from the Center console off - ( one thing about freelancers bloody plastic fantastic lol) But I'm going to try to see if replacing the resistors will fix the heating issue as its blooming...

Lol - I can fix it just need to know whats wrong first - give me a defender any bloody day - hate modern vehicles coz when they go wrong they do it with style....

Great minds think alike ive just read that lol :-) now need to work out why buttons wont light up lol - if I need to replace the switch btw would it not be better to just replace the entire unit for £20 would that make any difference?

As u can see this is the center consol3 I have taken apart - the fan will not switch on to oroduce either hot or cold air into the car and can u see the light bulb? Thats meant to light behind the buttons so you can see buttons in dark - thats stopped working too

Ive got the fan in engine bay to work now but still working out the heating inside the car ( the one u switch on to demist windows and warm u up or cool u down) its not working at all - turn the switch to 1 it does nothing nor 23 or 4.

Which fuse would it be if it is that at have so many fuses lol

Ive sorted the engine fan today ( I think) only time will tell. Its now the heater inside the car - it doesnt work, u turn the switch to blow out to demist windows and heat car but it doesnt work. Ive taken the center console bit apart slightly and noticed the switches to turn heat to feet...

So could it be a fuse that has caused the heater to stop working x

Oh it wont be me crackint that whip - got a burly lad that can do it for me so brace urself lol

I only have the external thermostat thats above the fan in engine bay ( as far as I am aware)- and I wouldnt have a clue if its multi layered :-/

I hold my own guys and dont take prisoners :-) that was last year in august...just from sitting in garden.

As you can see ive pulled this out to look and the light doesnt work on the console either - so could it be fuse to the center console and if so which one lol
