dose your keyfob lock the doors if not shut all the doors tailgate and bonnet lock the drivers door with the key and unlock it with the key then lock it with the keyfob und unlock it again with the keyfob then put the key in the ignition and see if it will start thats how i got mine to start...

well i have got 12.8 volts at the battery without engine running (but has been started once the morning) then with the engine running i have roughly 14.6 but this charge tester my mate has tells me that i have a bad diode in the alternator but not a really bad one it has a 96Ah battery on it...

if the white connector has not already been used the other half of the connector will be on thete just take it off there wont be any pins in it but they are cheap to buy from any automotive electrical supplier

when i wired up a 12v socket in the back of my p38 i used the 12v permenant supply for the caravan socket that powers the fridge etc

where abouts is the control unit? i will check the alternator output voltage tomorrow it should not be above 14.2 volts and i assume it should not be less than 12 volt?

you said you think your air suspension is getting slower? it could be the seal on the piston in the compressor thats worn that slows the suspension down i have done them in both of my p38s

i had a wobble on mine and it was tyres and draglink and land rovers always had vage steering

on mine you cant raise the suspension without the engine running as when i put the ignition on all the light for the suspension stay on until the engine starts i have tryed it

just an update i have checked the battery terminals alternator terminals ans starter turminals thet are all clean and tight i have put a larger amp battery on (the biggest i could get that would fit in the carrier) if anyone can suggest anything else i could try please reply i need all the help...

the viscous unit should not be that tight i used a good heavey duty screwdriver and jammed the pulley up by holding the srewdrive against two of the pulley bolts while i used a 32mm spanner to crack the viscous nut off ita about half hour job if you have the right tool at hand
