Talk about a Rip Off.....I pay 1080euro road tax (approx. £820) in Ireland. That's why we call it "Rip Off Republic". So it seems it may be worth changing my Disco to a UK plate for the year I'm there. Does anyone know off hand what is the procedure and associated costs with doing that?

Its a TD5. there's no white smoke, no brown stuff in the oil etc...none of the obvious signs other then the fact that its loosing a small amount of coolant.

Yeah its crossed my mind to go back to air but in the meantime I'm convinced the bouncy rear end with the coils is down to getting a better shock and with better dampning

Yes but with the auto in low range and 1st gear selected it holds that gear so you get the engine breaking same as a manual.

Auf...I had the same feeling after remapping mine, removing the EGR and fitting a De-Cat + Sports air filter....all very well but the extra grunt was lost on the standard TC. With the bigger one it does a great job of grabbing the power much earlier on.
