    Yeah I was told that MOTs could be a issue! All my lights are isolated through switches. Even if you was just flashing someone out at a junction you would blind them! Lol. Didn't reply fast tonight been traveling to London for work!!! Just got to the hoilday inn!

    If you turn lamp off via the dash switch you install it won't have any effect on the vehicles normal main beam. Should have said that. Sorry.

    Here is a wired example of the circuit I allowed for above. 50watt lamp fed via main beam control from original loom on vechicle. This circuit allows you to switch lamp off and on depending if you want to have it on when using main beam or not. Please tell me if anyone doesn't agree with it...

    Here is my dash panel and my fuse box. I ran a muliti core cable from panel to fuse box. These wires were only for the switching. Ie making and braking the relays. The relays then powers the circuit ie lights winch electric fan etc etc. Hope this gives you the idea. I will mount...

    The body work is all done by a friend. ( nato green) The Schultz and black under side all done by myself. This nato green does scratch really easy I guess this is normal? Seams like it.

    My new fuse box before I fitted it. Lots of new bits going on. Reasons for the second alternator and leisure battery.

    And made these up. Tub to outer wing supports. Made from 20mm thin wall box. Flatten the ends and rivet them on job done and much stronger than before. These will be painted and Schultz over.

    Also fitted some washer jets which mount to a wipe blade from another car. Not sure this will work yet but fingers crossed. At least with these the water will follow the sweep. Now just need to fit the winscreen lol.

    When I did my clutch I disconnect both props. Removed all bolts connecting gear box to engine. I left transfer box connected to gear box had a good size engine Crain and just used it to pull the lot back in one lump. I still had body on and did all this by removing the seats and had engine Crain...

    Forgot to say fitted a second alternator to the real defender lol Also made up some new parts for the side body corner mounts. As mine were rotten!!!!

    Been busy with the toy defender chassis today. Front and rear axle fitted Steering all sorted out. Got to fit up the wiring and pedals etc before chassis get painted. Brother is working on body ideas this week. Will be made out of metal hopefully not wood.

    I was lucky to have a very clever brother. He built me a custom Made 2.5 inch fully stainless system. Won't need changing for awhile. I would spend the money and do it. If you know a friendly welder.

    Oh and we are also building a toy lander rep for the kids. Only just started that but kids will grow up fast!!!
