    faulty heated mirrors ?

Unlucky, did you find a link for the "rave" landrover manual, and as said before the most common spot for a wire break and chafe is where the runs though the flexible conduit into the door, all that opening and closing flexing the cables.

    Waxoyl kit..

They work OK in a Heated workshop or if your spraying in a Mid summer heatwave. But not so well in a barn in Yorkshire in winter......or any place that cold really. I had them spraying outdoors in the winter, but don't know how safe as I used to put the can on the Aga till it nearly...

Replacement Ignition Keys for Disco TD5

provided your innards are OK, its a easy job, you can do the battery whilst your at it, the internal circuit board is only held by two clips. then your good to go for another four years....and now here is my tale of woe. As for local stealerships....mine charged £98.00 for a new fob with...

    Disco buyers guide

It just doesn't get any more eloquent than this.....best reply I have seen in ages. Funny and prophetic....so its a shame but all true. As an after thought, there is always the limited case that just as you fixed yours up, some hot shot comes along and robs you either by taking away or...

Hunting a disco, what do I look for?

From experience the mileage thing can be overrated, its the combination of mileage versus service history, not just the service stamps but was it loved with faults fixed promptly. ..mine was cheapest on Autotrader and came with a high mileage... but every thing was done and documented, it so...

what a nice reply...but being the Landyzone some still will, but it's only banter with some leg pulling. which can in some instances be really entertaining to read, shame as Tea and cake were on offer hope all have a happy new year, as for your rebuild, if its a bit squint and the shuts...

    A bit stuck

so fair to say as the 90 didnt come into existance till 1983, I would let the real enthusiast have the 150 for putting up with the lack of comfort driving an early series 3 .......back to basics.:welcome2:

    A bit stuck

did they make a 90 that falls into the tax exempt category, if so could you add a defender chassis and keep it tax exempt.
