Yh what I did was put a spanner on the front one after it had been torqued up and tried to do the back one the same. Not leaking right now so let's hope its OK.

As in the Valley gasket? The one I put in was composite. Between the 2 manifolds is metal. Is a composite valley OK?

Hi. My front to middle prop has a knackered uj at the transfer box end. Just wondering the best place to get the uj is. I've seen a few but don' want one which will be knackered again in 6 months. Also in pretty sure my transfer box needs sorting. I posted when I first got the disco. It lurches...

OK. Rave says you do but I'll see how I got. I'm doing the Valley gasket so lower manifold.

Where do I need to put the rtv? I know in the v shaped bit where the seals go. Anywhere else?

OK so I've had a look and there's a little puddle of coolant just below the Valley gasket clamp. But above the gearbox. So I'm assuming it's the Valley gasket. Is there a kit I can buy to do the job. I know I need the 2 seals that go either end and the Valley pan Gasket. I'm assuming I'll need...

OK so after some research and by looking at the rave guide it seems a very do able job. I will have another look on Monday to see what if I can find the leak. Maybe take the coil packs off. Is this what it is do we think? It does make sense.

The bolt at the very top right?

OK so remove manfold a it' under there?

And also its worth noting the leak has come in quite quickly so surely a corroded plug would start off light and slowly get worse?
