Hi Yeah it sounds like it's a common problem, for the rusty boot floors. and water leaking in. Mine leaks in through a speaker on the rear pillar. not had chance to really investigate furthur, but my guess would be that mines coming through body somewhere and creeping past speaker housing

I'm thinking about doing mine. Did you have any problems fitting the solid pipe without the flexi section in it? How easy were the manifold bolts to get out?

Cheers Grunt, seems alot lot better now, unfortunately the problem is still there. I had a look at the steering column UJ's, and the one that is right at the back of the engine bay, that then goes up to the steering wheel, looks like it has got play in it. Should it move slightly or be rigid?

That was how i did adjust the bearing, my only thought is, if it tightened up when i was tightening the locknut up. I'll have a look at that later then. I'll whip the damper off, and check the resistance then, thanks again for your help, i'll keep you posted of my findings.

Right starting to get peed off with it now, to recap it's had new track rod end, new damper, wheel bearings tightened, front wheels and a rear rebalanced. So thought stuff it and took it to a garage, they reshimmed the swivels, it is better but can still feel it in rough tarmac or potholes...

Well, tightened my front wheel bearings, changed track rod end cause that was nakered, had tyres rebalanced and he couldn't see anything wrong with the tyre. It feels alot better than it did, but is still doing the same. Has anyone got any suggestions as to what to try next?
