Are the stub axles a hard job to replace? How do you know if there is play in the box? the way i checked it is by standing outside and watched the wheels as i turned the steering wheel, to see how long it took the wheels to react, is that the right way of doing it? I'll check all the bolts...

My fan belt use to squeel, like a bitch!!! Changed the belt it cured the squeel straight away, it does squeel from time time, but seems to be mainly when it's sat there for a few days, and when it's damp. After it's been running for a couple of mins it's fine.

Should the radius arms be flexible, and move when i grab hold of them and move them from side to side? I'm trying to work out if the bushes have play in them, so what's the best way of doing this if they are flexible, and supose to move?

Is it like a groaning sort of noise? Have you checked your power steering fluid? If thats ok, might be worth bleeding the system and putting some fresh stuff in it.

Does it only happen on full lock? If it does then it's probably the wheel rubbing on the radius arm, you can adjust it by altering a bolt that is located just infront of the swivels. I need to do mine, but gota concentrate on me steering shake, before i worry with little niggly bits.
