you need to check out your insurance first, i would think at 23 with only 4 year no claims might be high, as for the choice with disco or gaylander, well i think that said enough, its always a personal choice. Welcome and enjoy

buy one with good service history, had my td5 2 years and replaced fuel pressure regulater, and oil cooler pipe from gearbox (Auto), sealed both sunroofs, drivers doors and rear door lock replaced, all known problems, wouldn't drive anything else now. :welcome2:

This may be true, but how many of us bought a landy on the fact that it was easy to repair, i certainly didn't, but i won't go back to a Mitsy either

I agree, if the thermastat stays closed when the coolant raises to normal working temp, it will continue to raise giving the reading of overheating, simple fix and not to costly.
