This may be a really Stupid idea but to go with my plans for galvanised inner front wings, in debating how much of the boot floor and rear arches can be replaced with alloy or galv pannels. I'm thinking of getting new iner and outer rear arches pre fitting them and then having them galv dipped...

I shouldn't wobble even without a steering damper. If nothing is obviously wrong when you look at it if try adjusting the free bits first and then make your way through the above lists in ascending order of cost.

TBH the trips more about meeting an old laning friend who moved to Scotland than anything else. I do prefer more technical lanes but open country side and good views are more than acceptable. I'll be happy as long as the weather is better than the three days of sideways rain I got last time I...

Hardish. I would like to be able drive home but I'm not bothered about the odd dent. If I grade it by Welsh lanes, the Bastard is fine the Pyg is a step too far.

So.. Back to my original question, any chance of a hint where these good lanes are please Rosie. I do have a route roughly plotted but would obviously like to drive the nicest lanes possible. Rough area will do as we're on an open forum.

They are notoriously difficult to bleed. If your positive there not leaks I would bleed again. Also you can ruin the seals on the master cylinder by pumping it too much when it's new or empty, if this is the case it's likely the fluid will have changed colour.

As above, it's the foam backing that detirioates not the glue. Most spray adhesives work short term but really it's time to replace or strip compleatly and spray paint.

every time you fix something on one of these bastards two more faults appear. Just fixed an oil leak from my vacuum pump a couple of weeks ago and now both the front and rear crank seals have gone. Every bloody time.

Not sure what happened to the bottom line of my post. I know what that the code says on the table but how do I go about fault finding it now and fixing it. The ECU connection or wiring to inlet, isolating, hydraulic modulator solenoid valve.

In true fashion for a Landy, my ABS light has behaved for the last week and on its way for is MOT it came back on again. F***er So I now have fault code 3-8

Meh, I'm English but I guess as I live on the Wirral this is more of my area than the North West.
