    Old Map of Africa

Thanks for the comments - positive or otherwise. With the volume of watchers it currently has I'm hopeful to get a reasonable price for it. Pics are an issue but I don't think it detracts too much. Rare is a subjective word, have you got one? Seen one for sale recently?

    Rear seats for small children....

Been down this route myself. Gave up in the end. The only ones suitable/safe enough for child seats are the exmoor trim ones for circa £400 a pop. Minibus seats are possible at they have built in seatbelts but putting in suitable load plates and then filling up all your load space ALL...

    Replacement rear crossmember

I know ive said it here before but - another one for clive. I had mine galvanised before fitting it on the driveway. Galvanising was a bit OTT to be honest. The thing it so thick the rest of the chassis will be dust before this thing rots! Looks pretty though.

New x member fitted at last!

Picked this beast up from pressbrake months ago but waited for dry weather to start fitting it. The quality of fabrication is amazing. I had it galvanised which makes it look nice (and more appealing to thieves) but the thickness of the thing means it was probably a bit overkill...

    Rust defence and reduction.

It is the capping between the top and tub. You can replace with Galvanised pieces but to be honest I dont think thats necessary till its full of holes! A good rub back, treatment and repaint should be enough.

Defender 110 CSW to Utility Conversion

You'll just simply need to find sombodu who wants to "go the other way" who has a 110 with van sides. I am sure that will be fairly easy.

    Seat trim question

Hi folks, original trimmed seats in my 1996. Was thinking of taking covers off and machine washing them. Before I get the spanners out, it is easy enough to remove and more importantly.... refit!!??!!
