They should be. On the replacement I had the colours were the same but some wires were a slightly different shade.

Yesterday replaced the heater return coolant pipe (had pinhole leak) and fitted new shiny boot badge. Wouldn't fancy doing anything today,it's awful outside. Next job is to replace high pressure power steering pump hose before MOT next month.

Yes they're all the same and yes you'll have to cut the wires. I've done my o rings too and after that you'll find this job easy!!

The motor is faulty. I had the same problem with the distribution motor, it moved a bit but then would stop and the book symbol came up. Replacement distribution motor works fine :)

I guess you're right, I've had it in cars in the past and never been that keen. Some of the wood looks good in the L322 though, reminds me of a Riva boat :)

Doesn't anyone else not like the wood in P38s? I think it really dates the interior.

For 10k I'd go for a nice 4.4 L322 personally.

Petrol or diesel, it makes no odds. It's how a car is looked after that determines its longevity :)

Did the garage that fitted it supply the engine? If so, take it back! Or is it a second hand engine off fleabay or similar?

I noticed that there appears to be a small leak from a coolant hose today. I've attached a pic, can't figure out if the water is coming from the AC pipe getting cold/condensation or the coolant pipe above. It certainly doesn't drip with the engine running. Coolant was changed recently so not...
