i was thinking that the inner and outer wing would be the one bit, make another bonnet out of steel sheet to fit the wings :) urently trying to sell my pug 106 to buy another disco for winter, if i do, maybe just maybe end up ditching the doors, roof and windscreen, and buildinga road legal...

yeah, i might lift the engine and box out and get all chassis done :) posibly strip back to a bare chassis, unsure... yup, hate rust :@ il just make new wings with tube and sheet steel :)

much easier to wend the floor / bulkheadand to clean chassis if body is off, so iff it came :) just kept the bit i need.

ive got a pipe bender im uing, its no the best tho, had a quick look on tinterweb, dont think il bother. im not planning on competing so should be ok :)

nahh, just a cage. wouldnt know where to start with a msa spec cage.

just got deliverd heaps of metal :) now away out to make sill>chassis mounts and get new sills in :)

full service, engine oil and filter. oil flush maybe? (some folk do some dont) 10-40 semi cooling system flush and new antifreeze. I use red antifreeze 50/50 with water air filter. fuel filter and drain sedimeter. diff oils. ep90 gearbox oil. ATF transfer box. ep90 grease all props. timing...

il pop up to black smith if i can beg / borrow / steal a vehicle of some kind tomorrow haha.

80x80 box should be ok then ? orderd 3 sheets of steel, a length of 25x50 box, 2 lengths of 2" tube and some 50x3 flat bar today, should be hear lunch time tomorrow :D

that was exactly my plan, i did for a while, but disco overheated many times, cant drive a mile then add water and wait for it to cool then drive another mile..... i did think of the RAC, but some #### didnt renew the AA cover and never thought to tell me :@

has anyone made the sill to chassis mounts ? if so, any pics ? i was thinking 3mm plate, welded in a U shape, upside down. if that makes sence haha. hopefully be getting more steel tomorrow, box to start the back of the cab, sheet steel for back of cab, floorpans and inner wings, 75x3 flat bar...
