    You can still get new bargrips, but they cost almost as much as a decent tyre that might actually offer some grip. I have not seen any 900x16s on ebay or elsewhere in quite a while, I'm after 900x16 dunlop rk2a/3s if anyone wants rid or swap for petlas.

    Disco chassis wheelbase is 100", Defender 90 is...90" so no the props will need to be made/bought to fit. The front *might* fit but I can't say for sure.

    Yes but you will need to modify the rear tub a bit to fit, and yes it would need an SVA test and would end up on a Q reg. Probably easier to buy a 90 tub. You would also need wheelarch spats front and rear as the disco axles would be wider then a series bodywork.

    The razor edge bonnet was the normal fitment on swb utilities until the mid-1970s. Station wagons and all 109"s got the deluxe bonnet. The 1-ton bonnet is stonger and has side catches rather then a centre catch, but it seems they used MOD spec bonnets on a lot of vehicles, mine even has cut outs...

    Hello (finally)

    Yes its had a lot of work done. The chassis will need replacing sooner rather than later though. Its lasted 41 years so I can't compain too much. Also needs a gearbox rebuild at the same time.
