I owned a T reg 1.8 for 3 years with no problems. They are not all bad. You will always hear more about the bad stories than good ones.

If your ever anywhere near Billing Aquadrome there is usually a guy there most weekends come show season or maybe even now with all the types of stuff you are mentioning at pretty cheap prices. Apart from that eBay.

Why exactly? I had no reason to believe there would be any problem, Longstanding member of this forum (a known quantity usually) especially with all the excellent communication I had with him, answering questions about it etc. before paying the money. Then nothing, just not normal in my view...
