I did this and the hot start has slightly improved, I intend to do it a bit more but maybe there is no point? The timing modulation figure did reduce from 70% to 45% on faultmate. Not easy to get definite info on this subject.

I had a Discovery intank pump fail, when i took it out I found it had a built in filter which was blocked. Once cleaned it worked ok again. I expect the p38 one is the same. Look for a thread on here which details how to cut the floor to get access, instead of dropping the tank

I found the same strip in both of my front doors and tried to trace it on parts explosions/guides but to no avail. Hopefully we can sort it now. The curved one wammers refers to have ends /caps moulded on, while the one in the pic does not have.

I suggest double check belt route via rave, easy to get wrong, I did it wrong but thought it looked ok. Note the tensioner does not move much
