Why would I buy an air compressor when I can use the air for free at the garage, I run 32 at front 35 at the back, never had a problem.

I don't think that "chalk test" is the best solution. You would have to drive around and around the centre court of the filling station to test it, going back far too many times. If it was raining you wouldn't have any luck what-so-ever.
