As above mate if in doubt bin them and buy new. Pay close attention to the hangers on the chassis as they can and will twist off if rusted thru. Sounds like you are enjoying the whole experience so far.................................

The uj's might look ok under tension mate but they wont when you take the pressure off. the only way to check them proper is to take them off. it does sound the likely cause to me especially as you say it goes when you grease them. quite an easy and cheap job to do to boot.

Mine is 130 amp and its run on pub gas. The only requirement to the gas is for it to be inert. Obviously argon gives a much better shroud and better finished weld but costs far too much. The most common problem is people using to high a setting. I use 0.6mm wire for body panels as it requires...

There has been a fair bit of overtime at work and i have grabbed as much as I could. Took home one and a half as many wages this month!
