Was cheap and thought it could be a bit of fun but my knees dont fit behind the bloody dash!!! It was a non runner aswell but a few simple bits and bobs and its all good.

Couldnt really say. Ive only drove it round the block. It seems quite good. seemed to be quite free when i jacked it up. it articulates easily. Never driven an sj before so i dont know how they should be. there has been a lot of dosh spent on it. just needs to be finished off now by somebody...

Thats the one mate. He spent a lot of dosh on it. he had a few problems with it and gave up on it. Had a couple of enquiries about it already:D

Oh and its got a Vitara 1600 8v engine fitted for a bit more grunt.

I know my mate who does comp safari's does a set of bearings after every event and always does the stub axle rear seals.

A good handfull of quality grease is about as much as you can do really. Did a mates 90 a few months back and the stub axle was almost worn thru and a nice deep black colour:p

The swivel was full of the same really. The whole lot could have passed into the hub i suppose. The free wheeling hubs were full also. is amazing where the water will get in and how easy it will bypass a seal that is a nice tight fit.:mad:

When I opened the hud a torrent of slimy water poured out mate. There was a fair bit of sandy type sludge in that formed a kind of grinding paste. the outer bearing was seized solid and just spining on the stub axle. I though he was taking the **** when he said the bearings were 4 weeks old!
