Can now confirm passenger side drain is semi blocked. Tried to suck out with cleaner and thin tube, also tried roding with thin plastic cable, no joy. Conclusion neither of above methods work or are possible on TD5 headlineing has got to come down. Mark

Hi Andy thanks for that will have a look. Will be interested to know how you get on towing boat, i cant see 1600 kg being problem. But friend of mine who has run dicos from day one for towing mini diggers, has just gone to a 03 TD5 and says pulling of is a problem on hills needs to slip clutch. Mark

Jumped in motor this morning and got a shower, seemed to be coming from parcel shelf above drivers seat. I suspect the drains from sun roof are blocked. Its a 52 plate TD5. Can you tell me how to go about sorting this out please. Mark

Thanks lads for advice, maybe i need to get a bit more heavy on the pedal, i do tend to be a bit pussey foot, shes done 65000 so i would hope is ok but never driven one b4 but the old 300 seemed sharper at btm end,but once TD5 is wound up it goses like stink. Thanks Mark

i think iam right to say all standard TD5 s are flat at bottem end, not good for towing, mine is, i tow around 1400 KG, Can any one tell me advantages and disadvantages of chipping her, ie fuel consumption. And how much should it cost. Thanks Mark

52 plate TD5 cup holder in arm rest between rear seats. It wont go back in fully, just that last inch, cant see anything broken, nothing has been droped down. Looks like trouble to get to bits i assume you have to prize the plastic surround off some how. Any one been there can addvise me ...
