I know because I've read this forum that lots of people blank their EGRs. It's not something I've given much thought to so far. One reason is that looking at MOT history (and in the rear view mirror) I know my TD5 has some emissions history. Logic suggests that the EGR is there to improve...
I'm looking at this on a phone so maybe I'm wrong but... has this got raised suspension and low profile tyres?
Compared to standard, that's got to be worse off road and worse on the road too.
After heavy rain like last night, I sometimes find water on the luggage cover in the boot. Unless it's the rear sunroof I suspect it's the alpine windows.
If they're bonded, is the best approach just to go round them with some sealant?
I'm in a similar position.
My Disco 2 is the family car. We can all get in my wife's 'pocket rocket' but we couldn't go on holiday in it. I know it's going to be a compromise but I'd like to progressively make it more suitable for off-roading without taking too much away from road manners...
I'm having a new compressor fitted on Thursday with exactly the same symptoms - it's low but not all the way down and when the garage put a direct feed to it the compressor still didn't work.
Maybe mine is the original and, after 16 years, just decided enough was enough?
Maybe a recent leaky...

Which RR are they from and do you happen to know what else they will fit?
Mine works like yours - needs a little pull at the end to fully deploy.
It's never occurred to me that it's not quite right. It's not top of the list of things I need to sort out.
I've done a bit of searching and reading so I think either my compressor is gone or one/more height sensors. How can I tell which?
Symptoms are as follows...
On starting engine (with all doors closed) the TD5 D2 does not appear to rise from parked height. It's not down on the bump stops just...
I might be wrong but I don't think he's asking for pics of facelift lights on a pre-facelift Disco.
I think he just wants pics of newer D2s (presumably with gnarrrly mods) to inspire him.
It doesn't look to me like the back is completely down. I'm sure mine looked much worse when I had a failed bag.
Does it rise at all when the engine is running?
If you press the button to raise the rear into 'offroad' mode what happens?
Also... where are you now that you're 5 hours away from...
