very pleased it had to fiddle with it for 2 hours as it lost park but now all sorted and can select all gears again. The link you posted was more help than Mr Haynes :D

mine was registered in 2001 and its on a L reg

mine did that until i replaced both solenoids for one big black one bugger if i can remember its name

when i select d i have to a go little over 3 then slightly push forward. its the same for all gears. it drives fine when its in gear in d it selects first but i can not with stick

just got my disco back on the road and have noticed its very hard to select first gear. is it possible to adjust the selector ? my manual says take to a specialist do i really need to ? i do have to go a little past the mark to select a gear so when i go to select first its still in second...

do you have a 200 rear prop ?

might have locking tab ???

would it have a rear prop (4 bolt type)
