i take it that the debris around the drain plug will be from the clutch? How hard is it to swap a clutch is it like a manual ?

Hi James this is what came out :( its not looking good is it should I carry on with changing the filter or start looking for a replacement box ?

when i got mine mot'ed he put it a 4x4 machine but then said my tyres were affecting it so he got what think was a g meter out witch he stuck to the floor and booted it down the yard and slammed the anchors on and she passed with flying colours :D

Im changing the filter and fluid today hopefully it will help fingers crossed. Do you have bigger tyres on yours ?

Is it normal for them to change at 2800 rpm ? It also seams as if slipping a little bit now after a 200 mile trip on sunday. Monday it stayed In first gear for about a mile but today it didn't but still took longer than normal to change

Bugger this might mean I gone and done another box in :mad: in less than 1000 miles aswell

Think it buggered now at what revs should my auto change gear when just plodding around on flat ground

thanks for input i now have atf fluid and filter kit gonna try that and keep my fingers crossed. its a strange 1 as today it was not as bad :confused: so im gonna try and fiddle with it AJC will your t/box fit on my autobox ?

Hi Sam would putting this style t/box on my auto disco help me? I had my autobox replaced about 18 months ago (would not change gear when cold) now the disco was off the road for a year just after the box swap it ran ok ie would change normal i got it mot'ed 2 weeks before xmas and seamed fine...

it was funny shame he didnt fall in realy would of bin ace not sure mate i just followed jaco:D

cant see a problem with it but give me a shout closer to. i never know what the kids have planned

might be clutch pack mines similar but im no eggspurt
