    1996 4.6 hse p38 smell of petrol/leak

Unlikely to be the tank as it's plastic My money would be on one of the feed/return pipes where they enter the tank Not sure if there is an access point in the floor of P38's above the tank but I'm pretty sure you can see said pipes if you take out the plastic wheel arch liners

    p38 4.6 on lpg

Sounds like classic single point syndrome then Your options are either to rip it out and fit a multi point system, which will run far better anyway - or run on petrol all the time Your consumption on gas wont be that great on gas anyway if it is single point Any LPG fitters near you that can...

    P38 Auto Problems

Did you remember to put a 5 amp or greater fuse in fuse position 11 in the right hand seat fuse box ? This is the only way to get the transfer box in neutral allowing you to tow without shafting the transmission

I've never heard such a load of pish in my life ! Let me get this right, because the P38 was an expensive car to buy when new then It has to be an expensive car to run ? - what's the point of all these DIY forums then, I'll just take it to a main dealer instead of trying to sort it myself...
